While sipping on 3 herbal teas, you will be guided with prompts to keep you in the present moment and engage with your senses. You will learn about the powerful effects the plants have on our mind, body, & spirit. Between tastings, you will be invited to channel your heightened senses as you work towards creating a single piece of art. Explore different art modalities after each herbal experience and document your sensory experience by creating a new mixed media work on canvas board. Afterwards you will create your own herbal tea blends to enjoy in the comfort of your home. Marguerite Nesteruk is an Earth & Energy Practitioner. She is a certified Herbalist, Reiki Master, & Earth Energy Healer. She also leads private, public, & corporate Herbal Tea Ceremony Experiences & creates organic herbal tea blends. She is originally from Long Island, NY but moved to California in 2015. Shortly after graduating from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, she spent a year in New Zealand exploring and realizing her true purpose and passion was for the Earth.  However, she still finds ways to keep her creative juices flowing in all aspects of her work. Having completed courses in both herbal medicine and geomancy, she infuses her work with a more attuned understanding of the energetic properties of plants and the Earth, and their benefits to human well-being.  With an eternal commitment to helping people, and the world at large, she is thrilled to share her knowledge, passion, and skills with others eager to embrace the energy and beauty of Nature’s bounty around us. 

Larissa Grass is an artist and educator and native of Long Island. Her passion for the fine arts started at a very young age. Larissa received a portfolio scholarship to attend Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia where she obtained a B.F.A. in Printmaking. Tyler School of Art gave Larissa an opportunity to travel to Rome where she studied with master printmakers exploring modern and ancient printing techniques. It was there that she fell in love with the medium. Larissa is moved by the process of printmaking, finding a true passion for creating the matrix. Carving, scraping, burning, and preparing a printing plate fuels her work. She sees the plate as its own sculptural entity. The work Larissa creates is inspired by the patterns, textures, and forms she notices in her surrounding environment. Most importantly she is excited by color. It’s thrilling to see it spread across a surface, mix with another color or complement it. The images Larisa uses are taken from her interactions with Nature. When she meets a creature or comes across a botanical, it’s her goal to record that moment.

Join myself & Melodee Solomon for Breathwork + Tea at Montauk OM. This workshop will meld our love for breath and plants. Through the power of plants, I will guide participants with consciousness shifting and grounding herbal teas prior to and after the Breathwork session. I will also share my knowledge of the plants medicinal qualities and their effects on our body, mind, and spirit. Melodee will guide an experience of intimacy with the energy body and self through the vehicle of the breath. This ancient pranayama practice is one of new realms of connection with existence via the individual, an experience of higher states of consciousness and a release of energy of all kinds. It is quite powerful, and shows each person who shows up for it a glimpse of the truth of their own nature; We are all Love embodied. 

This workshop is an ode to living our true nature. The purpose of the tea is to bring you into your body, create a calm space, and complement the Breathwork experience. Matthew Mahler (b. 1982, St. James, NY) is an artist and educator living in Ridewood, Queens. He holds a B.S. in Art Education from Hofstra University and a MFA from CUNY Queens College with a focus on painting. Mahler’s work has been exhibited widely throughout the   east coast including solo exhibitions at Sardine (NY), One River School of Art + Design (NY) and Heliopolis (NY).  
Matthew has been working as a teaching artist in New York City since 2009 taking an exploration based approach while in the classroom. Ranging in age and ability, Mahler focusses on celebrating the successes of each individual student.

Tree Intentions — Join us in decorating our California Red Fir tree (mindfully harvested to support forest restoration & reduce catastrophic fire risk in the Northern Sierra Nevada mountain range) with notes of gratitude for 2023, and intentions for 2024. The tree and your notes (hand-written on compostable paper) will be returned to our soil through our compost program, feeding future life on this land for many seasons to come.

The Sonic Being team is excited to serenade you with authentic healing sounds and vibrations while we shift into the energy of the Full Moon peaking later in the night. The session will be guided by Michelle Berc with a team of sound healers. Our special musical guest will be Gabriel Logan Braun who will be sharing Didjeridoo, Flute, Handpan, and hypnotic vocal looping interweaved into the Sonic Being Journey.

Each Full Moon offers a window of time to cleanse and find closure in any area of your life. The moon's bright light will illuminate our shadows, allowing us to see things with a new perspective. This Full Moon lands in the Air sign Gemini inspiring us to look at our life from multiple perspectives and make objective decisions.

The program includes light breathwork with vocal toning to prepare the mind, body, and spirit for a powerful live and acoustic performance of sacred and rare instruments. A blissful sonic universe will be created with Crystal & Tibetan Singing Bowls, Sacred Drums & Percussion, Gongs, and more. Sounds and vibrations are tuned to 432hz – a natural frequency found in nature and sacred geometry which are extra nurturing for the human vessel.

The session will conclude with a complimentarty cup of tea served by Marguerite of Resonating Earth. The evening's signature herbal blend will include Mugwort & Lavender to honor the Gemini Full Moon. Mugwort is a bitter herb that supports digestion, has relaxing properties, encourages dreaming, supports our energetic shifts associated with the Lunar cycles. Lavender has a calming effect on the body, can help with sleep, and is associated with the zodiac Gemini symbolizing harmony.

During the Tea Talk, you will get to enjoy 3 different teas while I discuss a few topics that cover the various ways to infuse tea, flavor profiles, steep times, & how to create a tea blend. After the tea discussion, attendees will create their own herbal tea blends to enjoy at home. Participants will also have the option to enjoy one of their tea blends from the hot tea kettle warmed by a camping stove built into a Rivian truck . Guests will leave feeling informed, & connected more to Nature. Please note, the Tea Talk will be inside followed by the Tea Blending outside.
