Tree Intentions — Join us in decorating our California Red Fir tree (mindfully harvested to support forest restoration & reduce catastrophic fire risk in the Northern Sierra Nevada mountain range) with notes of gratitude for 2023, and intentions for 2024. Evergreen trees represent the continuation of life during the darkest days of the year. The tree and your notes (hand-written on compostable paper) will be returned to our soil through our compost program, feeding future life on this land for many seasons to come.

Nourishing traditional foods - featuring ingredients from this land carefully crafted to support winter health:

  • Beef Stew (ALF grass fed beef, carrots, potatoes, onions, rosemary, seasonal vegetables)

  • Squash Stew (ALF kabocha, red kuri and butternut squashes, carrots, potatoes, onions, sage)

  • Roan Mills sourdough bread & cultured butter

  • ALF Garden Salad (mixed farm greens, Wild At Heart Ojai lacto-fermented vegetables, vinaigrette)
